Junior Software Engineer
Job Description
VOCAL Technologies Inc. in Buffalo, NY is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to support software development for telecommunications-focused solutions. The role combines hands-on implementation work with ongoing maintenance and the creation of internal tools that streamline building and upkeep of complex code.
This position is on-site in Buffalo, NY and supports full-time work delivering software capabilities that address real telecommunications problems, from design through testing and iterative improvement.
Role Focus
- Design and implement software solutions for telecommunications problems
- Maintain and improve existing software solutions
- Build software modules of significant size and complexity, including coding and testing
- Create software tools to aid in code building and maintenance
- Work with customers to deliver a solution that meets and exceeds their needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance
- Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages

Compensation & Work Details
- Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year
