Lead Cybersecurity Engineer

Experis seeks a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to design and advance enterprise-wide security programs across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security into development and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise cybersecurity programs spanning cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain secure architectures for cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, implementing robust security controls.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization to foster a security-first culture.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, legal, and audit teams to integrate security throughout technology development and operational lifecycles.
• Conduct risk assessments, coordinate compliance audits, and craft remediation plans to close security gaps and meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), or security engineering.
• Deep expertise in cloud security architecture, security automation, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record leading security initiatives and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of security controls, vulnerability management, and enterprise risk management practices.
