Lead Data Engineer

Azure-based ETL/ELT pipelines and strengthening data quality across external data domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of data integrations with external partners
• Design, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load external data into Azure SQL
• Define and enforce data modeling standards, schemas, and data contracts for external data domains
• Implement data quality frameworks
• Apply ML and advanced techniques to improve data cleansing, matching, and enrichment
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and review processes for data engineering work

Requirements

• 7+ years of data architecture/engineering experience
• Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines in an Azure-centric environment
• 2+ years of senior/leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
