Responsibilities
- Design structured cabling systems for voice, data, video, and network infrastructure
- Develop A/V, access control, CCTV, and building automation system layouts
- Produce drawings, riser diagrams, details, and schedules using Revit and AutoCAD
- Plan and coordinate telecom rooms, pathways, conduit systems, and equipment arrangements
- Integrate low voltage systems into BIM models for coordinated design and construction
- Ensure code compliance and adherence to TIA, EIA, NEC, and related standards
- Support construction activities by reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years experience in low voltage, ICT, or structured cabling design
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required
- Understanding of TIA and EIA cabling standards and industry best practices
- Familiarity with A/V systems, security infrastructure, and automation controls
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with clients and project teams
- RCDD certification preferred
- Focus on quality, coordination, and continuous improvement
