Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer role at Lenox Hotel in Boston, MA (onsite) focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day upkeep across key hotel areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for hotel common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bars, fitness center, and guestrooms
• Oversee and maintain hotel mechanical equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Support overall general upkeep of the property
• Identify issues and solve problems on a regular basis
• Interact with hotel guests as needed during maintenance activities
• Assist and coordinate with hotel vendors
• Collaborate with multiple departments, including front desk, food and beverage, and housekeeping

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• At times required to reach, lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, manipulate, or otherwise move objects
• Occasional frequency of bending, squatting, navigating stairs and ladders, twisting, and turning
• Required to stand up to six (6) hours at a time
• Flexible schedule required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred
• Multilingual skills are a plus
