Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as Principal-in-Charge for assigned projects, directing efforts, reviewing deliverables, and guiding engineering staff throughout assignments.
• Identify and appoint project managers, providing ongoing guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with clients, participate in meetings, and maintain active client communications as needed.
• Take technical ownership of project components and offer hands-on engineering support to project managers and team members.

Requirements

• Texas licensed professional engineer (PE) is required.
• Approximately 10+ years of related geotechnical engineering experience.
• Comprehensive geotechnical engineering background with a well-rounded skill set.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and professional integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and leadership presence.
• Proven track record of maintaining positive client relationships and delivering service excellence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
