Production Engineer
Job Description
ASML is seeking a Production Engineer to join the Production Engineering Group within its manufacturing organization in Wilton, Connecticut. In this onsite role, you will provide world-class support to Manufacturing, contributing to the production of the DUV Reticle Stage while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing procedures and troubleshooting activities.
This position focuses on practical execution in a Concurrent Engineering environment, including supporting electro-mechanical production systems, validating manufacturing readiness for new products, and collaborating to resolve issues through technical documentation and root-cause validation.
Responsibilities
- Perform BOM structure checks and evaluate components working with D&E
- Define and create manufacturing procedures and specifications
- Support introduction of new products into production in an existing Concurrent Engineering environment
- Create and design production tooling and qualification tests
- Generate technical work instructions and test plans
- Support production issues by performing concise troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems and sub-systems
- Evaluate and disposition failed parts, proposing solutions
- Review Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers and help validate the root-cause of the failure
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Mechatronics; or BS in Software; or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years in an engineering environment
- Experience with precision mechanics (a plus)
- Working knowledge of Unigraphics, SAP, and Unix (Unix is listed as a plus)
