Professional Engineer

This role seeks a dynamic and detail oriented Professional Engineer to join our engineering team in Houston, focusing across electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems covering low and medium voltage distribution, lighting, and fire protection power networks
• Calculate load demand to preserve system safety and stability
• Support construction activities by resolving technical challenges
• Design and size HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ensure designs comply with U.S. standards and optimize overall system efficiency
• Coordinate with structural and architectural teams to integrate BIM model performance
• Perform structural system analysis and design to meet safety and code requirements
• Collaborate with architectural and MEP teams to refine structural solutions
• Review construction drawings and provide technical support as needed

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience in structural design, with familiarity of ASCE, IBC, and AISC standards
• Proficient with SAP2000, ETABS, Revit, and Tekla
• Experience in industrial manufacturing facilities and energy facility design is preferred
