Job Description

J-U-B Engineers is seeking a Professional Engineer (Water/Wastewater) to join its team in Fort Collins, CO in an onsite role. This position supports municipal water and wastewater delivery end-to-end, from early concept work through construction, with an emphasis on strong technical leadership, team coordination, and client-focused service.

As a licensed engineer, you will help lead multidisciplinary efforts that shape infrastructure for public health and regional growth, while also mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development initiatives.

Role and Impact

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering water and wastewater solutions
  • Design infrastructure systems including conveyance, pumping, storage, and treatment
  • Guide projects from concept through construction, working alongside clients, agencies, and contractors
  • Drive project scope, budgets, and technical excellence
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers to help shape the next generation
  • Build trusted relationships and contribute to business development efforts

Key Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in municipal water/wastewater planning, design, and construction
  • Comfort leading teams and communicating with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
  • Commitment to quality work and exceptional client service
  • Motivation to mentor others and grow professionally

Compensation

  • USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year (depending on experience)
