Professional Water Resources Engineer
Job Description
J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is hiring a Professional Water Resources Engineer for its Reno, Nevada office. In this onsite role, you will support municipal water and related infrastructure projects by pairing engineering design and project management with active client engagement and contract development.
Working within a team that coordinates across disciplines, you will participate across planning, design, and construction phases while analyzing engineering data, interpreting plans and specifications, and making sound technical decisions.
Role Summary
- Provide engineering design and project management services for municipal engineering work, including water, sewer, storm water, and other municipal services.
- Develop client relationships to help secure project work and service contracts.
- Manage client projects with responsive communication and a focus on delivering quality projects for multiple clients.
- Participate in all phases of project development, design, and construction.
- Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and apply engineering judgment to address project challenges.
- Collaborate with other engineers, planners, and public agencies.
- Contribute to reports and design as well as construction phase services for private and public agency projects.
- Coordinate and support projects across the company on multi-disciplinary efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.
- 5+ years of qualified experience.
- Municipal engineering background.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to build a practice and mentor junior staff.
- Proven technical background and skillset.
Compensation
- Salary range: $90,000 - $160,000 per year, determined by experience.
