Senior Data Engineer

LTM is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Irving, TX for an onsite role. This position focuses on building and maintaining high-quality, scalable Python-based data applications, including data processing pipelines, backend services, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code to support data-driven applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Design and implement data processing pipelines and backend services
• Ensure code quality by writing unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Stay current with the latest Python technologies and best practices for data applications
• Design and implement robust backend components and APIs using Python
• Develop scalable data models and integrate with relational and non-relational databases
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to support data ingestion and processing workflows
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions
• Maintain documentation for code, data flows, and system configurations
• Use version control and participate in continuous integration and deployment processes
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the team
