Senior DevOps Software Engineer

Video Centrix is seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to help build and operate a cloud and automation foundation for reliable service delivery. This role is based in Las Vegas, NV and focuses on designing scalable, secure AWS infrastructure and CI/CD workflows, with an emphasis on driving toward 99.9% uptime. As the company launches, the position starts solo and scales sensibly over time.

The work also extends to the software side of edge devices. You will support edge-device software operations, including environments, remote management, and OTA or firmware processes, along with benchmarking and testing edge hardware from the software perspective (Nvidia Jetson). The role is software/cloud-led and does not involve the physical hardware supply chain.

What you will do

• Build and run AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.
• Own and operate CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Lead DevOps/SRE reliability practices aimed at a 99.9% uptime target, with realistic expectations for solo ownership.
• Manage edge-device software operations, including environments, remote management, and OTA/firmware processes.
• Benchmark and test edge hardware (Nvidia Jetson) from the software side.
• Support secure, scalable operations aligned to SOC2 / ISO 27001.

What you bring

• Strong AWS experience and capability with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar).
• Solid CI/CD and DevOps/SRE background.
• Ability to own reliability solo and apply scaling practices over time.
• Experience with edge or embedded device software operations, with Jetson experience as a plus.
• Security-conscious approach, with SOC2 / ISO 27001 familiarity helpful.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code as a core part of the workflow.
• Understanding that the role is software/cloud-led, not physical hardware supply chain.
