Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer role onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, with a salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Assesses unit-level systems to determine the suitability of electrical designs and components for the overall system.
- Creates and documents system-level electrical requirements derived from unit specifications and applicable electrical and safety codes (including UL/ETL, CE, and local standards) to ensure safe and reliable equipment.
- Ensures electrical designs and applications comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Develops and documents electrical designs tailored to equipment applications.
- Performs peer reviews of colleagues' electrical work and suggests alternative designs to enhance safety, cost efficiency, reliability, and quality.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- No direct reports; may oversee technical support activities for testing and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience with industrial or commercial products, or equivalent related work.
- EPlan experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with internal and external compliance standards (UL/ETL, CE, and other relevant standards).
- HVAC/R experience is desirable.
- Proven leadership qualities, strong communication of technical concepts, ability to collaborate in teams and work autonomously, and a proactive mindset.
