Job Description
FindTalent is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Substation for an onsite role in Kittery, ME.
Responsibilities
- Develop substation layouts and associated electrical system designs
- Support installation activities for substation equipment
- Perform testing of substation equipment to confirm performance
- Conduct maintenance on substation equipment as required
- Troubleshoot substation issues and identify effective corrective actions
- Coordinate with engineers and technicians to maintain smooth and reliable substation operation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 7+ years of experience working in a substation environment
- Strong working knowledge of substation design, protection and control, and electrical engineering
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
