Senior Lighting Engineer - Traffic

Senior Lighting Engineer - Traffic position with DRMP in Orlando, FL, focusing on lighting design and analysis for roadway infrastructure on site.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation lighting systems
• Perform lighting design and analysis for roadway and infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality solutions
• Provide recommendations for design optimization and energy efficiency
• Coordinate with clients, utility companies, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
• Prepare technical reports, engineering studies, and supporting documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including NEC, NESC, and local regulations
• Proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP, AGI32, AutoCAD, or MicroStation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
