Job Description
Senior Lighting Engineer - Traffic position with DRMP in Orlando, FL, focusing on lighting design and analysis for roadway infrastructure on site.
Responsibilities
- Develop construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation lighting systems
- Perform lighting design and analysis for roadway and infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality solutions
- Provide recommendations for design optimization and energy efficiency
- Coordinate with clients, utility companies, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Prepare technical reports, engineering studies, and supporting documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including NEC, NESC, and local regulations
- Proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP, AGI32, AutoCAD, or MicroStation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
