Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications within the Amplify platform, including trading systems, proposal tools, digital forms, and client-facing features.
• Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
• Contribute to front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Provide production support and participate in a rotating morning system check before market open.
• Collaborate within an agile team and work closely with engineering leadership to influence design, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Uphold Amplify's core values and foster an ownership-driven engineering culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of software development experience using C#/.NET or another object-oriented language.
• Comfort working across the full stack—including databases, APIs, back-end services, and front-end components.
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of relational database concepts.
• Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of software design principles, testing, and version control.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
• Proven track record delivering projects from concept to production.
• Education: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
