Senior Software Engineer position at Mastercard, onsite in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Manage end-to-end software delivery for a component, including coding, testing, building, releasing, configuring, and documenting
Troubleshoot and refactor existing modules to improve quality
Evaluate and adopt new languages and architecture patterns as required
Engage in the team's agile process and contribute to prioritization decisions
Pull tasks from the backlog and deliver in collaboration with the scrum team, seeking guidance from experienced teammates as needed
Automate build, deployment, and operational tasks
Lead trade-off discussions around code, design, and process as needed
Advance service integration with emphasis on customer journey and experience
Lead demos and acceptance discussions with product owners
Consider operational and engineering experience; actively work to improve experience and metrics in the ownership domain
Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end architecture and dependency graphs
Promote technology standards and opinionated frameworks; review peers' code, tests, and automation
Mentor junior engineers and guide newer teammates
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste
Share knowledge within the guild or program to promote reuse of patterns, libraries, and practices

Experience across multiple programming languages and frameworks, with Java required
High energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently under pressure
