Senior Software Engineer

Arivo Acceptance LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build and maintain resilient, distributed systems using Go.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality, tested, and monitorable GoLang services for a distributed architecture
• Collaborate with third party vendors and users to improve resiliency across the system
• Perform code reviews and provide actionable feedback to other engineers
• Help establish and enforce code standards and related best practices
• Contribute to architecture design and project planning
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and project planning
• Mentor team members and deliver formal and informal training

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid driver license and maintain a professional appearance
• BS degree in a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and/or work experience
• Ability to assume on-call responsibilities on rare occasions
• GoLang and MySQL experience preferred
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and front end frameworks (especially VueJS) is a plus

Reporting line: Software Engineering Manager. Salary range: USD 117,000 - 140,000 per year. Location: Salt Lake City, UT (hybrid). Minimum experience: 5 years. Education: BS in a related technical discipline.
