Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack
Job Description
VoltaGrid is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to expand its SaaS ERP-like platform for internal teams and external customers, with a focus on cloud-native, event-driven systems and full-stack delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a distributed agile development team to design and deliver software
- Build solutions on AWS using services including Lambda, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS
- Develop event-driven applications and APIs using TypeScript and Golang
- Create and maintain front-end applications using React
- Deploy and manage infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CDK, and SST
- Use Git for version control and support CI/CD, including code reviews and feedback on clarity, feature completion, and best practices
- Apply strong problem-solving and attention to detail to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions
- Work independently while keeping communication strong and maintaining professional curiosity
- Partner with other engineers to build innovative solutions
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support systems and deployments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant industry experience
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Expert proficiency in either TypeScript or Go
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working independently
- Expert understanding of cloud-native services, patterns, and AWS best practices
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong ownership and stewardship for a codebase
- Interest in a startup-like environment with cross-functional collaboration
- Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies

- Experience developing or enhancing CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems)
- Experience with RPC-based APIs (tRPC, gRPC)
- Experience integrating services and applications with LLMs and other AI-based technologies
