Senior Software Engineer (Level III) - Top Secret clearance

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Level III) to advance payload analysis tool development for RF payloads within Global Security programs. This onsite role requires a Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility for long-term program work. The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 93,200 to 164,450 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package and collaboration with a skilled team of RF engineers and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Security portfolio by developing payload analysis tools for world class RF payloads across the program lifecycle.
• Contribute to system requirements flow-down to test and verify mission performance.
• Lead troubleshooting and anomaly resolution efforts.
• Collaborate with RF Engineers, Box and Sub-systems CPEs, leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to drive program success.
• Partner with customers and program leadership to ensure payload products and milestones are met.
• Apply subject matter expertise on payload analysis tools and mission execution.

Requirements

• Experience developing software using Python, C#, and/or C++.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• U.S. Citizen required to meet program/customer requirements.
• Selected candidates must currently possess an Active Top Secret clearance to be considered.
• Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI) for long-term employment on this program.
