Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will join Viral Slice in Powell, Ohio in a hybrid work arrangement to build, maintain, and optimize the digital infrastructure that supports sales funnels, websites, automations, and customer journeys. The role is entry to mid-level, with a compensation range of USD 3,500 - 4,000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain conversion-focused sales funnels, landing pages, and microsites
• Identify and resolve code, integration, and UI/UX issues quickly
• Design and deploy automations across email, CRM, and lead flows using Zapier, Make, or custom code
• Improve site performance, features, and responsive behavior
• Collaborate with marketers, designers, and content creators to realize ideas
• Manage custom scripts, webhooks, and back end workflows
• Develop with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, Next.js, and leverage CMS platforms like Shopify, WordPress, Webflow

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of coding experience, including internships or strong portfolio projects
• Proficient in clean, scalable HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks
• Experience with Git, Node.js, REST APIs, Firebase, and similar tools
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining stability and repairing issues as needed
• Strong problem solving skills and a high learning agility
• Interest in conversion optimization, automation, and digital performance
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a desire to grow in a fast paced environment
