Based in King of Prussia, PA with hybrid work options, this backend software engineering role focuses on building scalable web applications with AI driven development. You will join a collaborative, forward looking team that values continuous learning and practical application of AI tooling, including Devin, to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications
  • Collaborate with teammates to integrate AI driven features
  • Write clean, secure, and maintainable code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application tiers
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and AI development practices

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of web development experience (or strong project/internship experience)
  • Hands on experience or strong interest in AI development, including AI coding and prompt engineering
  • Experience with AI assisted development tools, such as Devin
  • Understanding how to integrate AI features into applications
  • Back end technologies: Node.js, Next.js, and TypeScript
  • Basic knowledge of relational (Postgres) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
  • Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Understanding or hands on experience with microservices architecture
  • Exposure to AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and S3
  • Understanding of object oriented programming principles
  • Familiarity with version control using Git
  • Ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams focusing on team success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of microservices best practices
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably CDK
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices using CircleCI and LaunchDarkly flagging (or equivalent)
  • Experience with Devin or similar AI assisted coding tools
