Software Engineer

Trianz is seeking a Software Engineer to support the full lifecycle of computer and network software development, including requirements analysis, development, testing, defect resolution, and release support. The position is based in Herndon, VA (onsite).

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, and maintain computer and network software, applications, and utility programs.
• Review user requirements and apply computer science and engineering principles to develop software solutions.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests to verify functionality, performance, and quality.
• Identify and resolve software defects, improve existing applications, and provide support for software releases.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define specifications, integrate hardware and software components, and help ensure systems meet performance and quality requirements.
• May support database development and maintenance as part of application development and testing activities.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5 years of experience in the field.
• Experience with GENAI.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Experience with FAST Insurance Admin Platform.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Selenium.
• Experience with NYL Annuity Admin (Compass/CAPS).
• Experience with New Onboarding Retirement Application (NORA).
• Travel required.

Compensation

The salary for this role is USD 175,427 - 175,427 per yearly.
