Job Description
Golftec is hiring a Software Engineer for a growing remote team based in Englewood, CO. The role focuses on designing, building, testing, and maintaining scalable software that supports both business operations and customer experience.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for developing applications and internal systems, integrating APIs and databases, and ensuring solutions perform reliably under real-world usage. The Software Engineer will work across the software lifecycle and contribute to engineering discussions that improve quality, security, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and internal systems
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using established industry best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver software effectively
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
- Support system integration, including API development and database management
- Maintain software performance, security, and reliability
- Track emerging technologies and development trends to continuously improve delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in software development or engineering
- Strong knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar
- Experience with frontend and/or backend frameworks
- Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and cloud-based technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Technical Skills and Tools
Experience with the following technologies is relevant to this role: JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, REST APIs, React, Node.js, .NET, Django, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React, Node.js, .NET, Django, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
Schedule and Work Arrangement
- Full-time remote role
- Monday to Friday schedule

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly rate for this role ranges from USD 45 to 85 per hour.
