Software Engineer C++ Qt QML

Controltech Corporation offers a relocation package to support joining our Bondurant, Iowa team. This on-site, full-time role focuses on developing embedded Linux software for a cutting-edge building automation control used in confinement farming, utilizing C++ with Qt and QML alongside an online tool suite.

You will contribute to remote-management and monitoring capabilities for the control system, write automated unit tests, and help drive automated regression testing and build validation, applying solid C++ skills within a Qt environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded Linux applications for remote management and monitoring of the building automation control
• Write automated unit tests
• Manage automated regression testing and build validation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Strong C++ skills, with C++11 and C++14 experience considered a plus
• Object-oriented programming
• Qt 5 Framework and QML proficiency
• MQTT familiarity
• Experience writing unit tests with QtTest
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to take initiative and work independently or within a group
