Job Description
ASD offers an onsite Software Engineer III role in Manhattan Beach, CA, with relocation assistance and a competitive pay rate of $85.00 to $90.00 per hour. This position focuses on embedded flight software, performing board-level software development, testing, and ensuring connectivity, installation, boot, and checkout of flight hardware. A Top Secret security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test software at the board level for flight hardware
- Create software to test flight hardware and demonstrate connectivity
- Install software on flight hardware, boot the system, and perform checkout
- Collaborate within a software engineering team on embedded software development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with C++ and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in VxWorks 6.9 and VxWorks 7.0
