Software Engineer Stf - Level 4

A Software Engineer on an Agile Scrum Team supporting space domain awareness and constellation optimization, developing and deploying software for a complex space system using open source tools and cloud/container technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and simulate operational level plans to explore feasible defense options for space assets in future conflict scenarios
• Dynamically optimize both ground-based and space-based sensors to deliver comprehensive space domain awareness
• Strategically optimize the deployment and maneuvering of satellite constellations to meet evolving priorities

Requirements

• Experience designing and documenting microservice based architectures
• Strong understanding of open architecture, cloud computing design, and security principles
• Proficiency in software development with JavaScript, HTML, Python, and/or C#
• Understanding or experience with application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Effective communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
• Strong presentation skills
• No clearance required to start; must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Compensation

Annual base salary range: USD 113,900 - 200,905
