Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, maintainable, and high performance applications
  • Collaborate with the development team to build reusable UI components, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility
  • Develop web and client/server applications using Java, TypeScript/ JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Work with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA
  • Upgrade legacy versions of Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA to current versions
  • Utilize modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular
  • Design databases and write SQL queries, Oracle experience preferred
  • Use version control systems such as Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
  • Build RESTful APIs and services
  • Contribute within an Agile development environment
  • Analyze user interfaces, monitor system performance, and support hardware and software tuning
  • Assess workload, system usage, downtimes, and proposed system modifications or upgrades
  • Define system requirements and program specifications for development teams
  • Collaborate closely with programmers to ensure accurate implementation of system specifications
  • Work with functional users to evaluate and propose alternative technical solutions
  • Research emerging technologies to understand their potential impact on organizational systems

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Develop web and client/server applications using Java, TypeScript/ JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Work with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA
  • Upgrade legacy versions of Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA to current versions
  • Utilize modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular

  • Security clearance and citizenship: TS/SCI with polygraph; U.S. Citizenship Required

  • Salary: $162,037 to $219,227 per year; final compensation determined by experience, location and contractual requirements
