Compensation and location: USD 90,000 - 135,000 per year, on site in Adams, MA.

Develop and specify fire protection systems, including sprinkler networks, fire alarms, and suppression equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and construction professionals to integrate fire protection into building designs.
Maintain current knowledge of fire protection engineering advancements and apply new technologies and techniques to designs and systems.

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of five years of professional experience in fire protection engineering and design.
Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Fire Protection.
Experience with fire modeling and simulation software.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Membership in professional organizations such as the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA, IBC, and OSHA.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with engineers, contractors, and building owners.
