Systems Sales Engineer - IT, Networking, & Cybersecurity

Lutron Electronics is seeking a Systems Sales Engineer to join the Commercial Applications team onsite at the Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. The position blends technical acumen with problem solving and a customer-focused mindset to support IT, networking, and cybersecurity initiatives on strategic projects.

Based at the Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA, this role combines technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to delivering technology solutions. You will work closely with customers, sales professionals, and internal IT, networking, and security teams to support strategic projects and tackle complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lutron IT and engineering teams and with the customer’s IT, networking, and security departments to lead technical solution design, validation, and sales success.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, delivering system application expertise and resolving complex customer challenges to remove sales barriers.
• Develop and deliver training to enhance the ability of Lutron's sales and support teams to discuss networking and cybersecurity topics with customers.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical language accessible to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Continuously expand knowledge and expertise across a broad spectrum of IT and building technology domains.
• Promote process improvements by developing innovative approaches that boost efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Minimum five years of work experience in computer systems, programming languages, operating systems, and/or databases.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time, sometimes with short notice.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
