Technical Support Engineer Installer

Amentum seeks a contract Technical Support Engineer Installer to survey, install, and configure a Wireless Intrusion Detection System at classified customer locations within the CONUS, operating onsite in Alexandria, VA. The role features fluid scheduling and periods of sustained work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble antennas and mounting brackets
• Install equipment above drop ceilings
• Pull and terminate Ethernet cables
• Potentially transport equipment between buildings
• Execute tasks in accordance with all applicable Amentum safety standards
• Perform work in an environment with both standard business hours and after-hours as required by customer site availability

Requirements

• Experience with current installation procedures, including potential conduit bending and installation, is preferred
• Ability to climb step-ladders up to approximately 10 feet
• Capability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and carry at least 15 pounds of equipment
• Minimum of one to two years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required

Compensation Details

Compensation: $85 per hour
