Traffic Signals Project Engineer

The Traffic Signals Project Engineer designs and optimizes traffic signal systems across roadway networks to improve safety, mobility, and operational efficiency through data driven analysis and cross discipline collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate discipline specific work streams, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Support business development activities, including proposal generation and client outreach.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for assignments within the engineering discipline.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the technical deliverables produced by the project team; mentor staff toward achieving project objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects of projects with client counterparts and partnering firms at staff level within the discipline.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines on multi discipline programs to deliver integrated solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience
