Transportation Engineer (EIT or PE)

Everforth is seeking a Transportation Engineer with an active EIT or PE to help shape roadway and active transportation initiatives in the Columbus area. This hybrid role combines CAD-based design, estimates, and documentation from concept through construction, offering a pathway to grow within a collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and designing roadway and active transportation projects
• Conduct research, data analysis, and field reviews
• Create CAD-based design plans and visual exhibits
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and technical documentation
• Engage in quality reviews and coordinate with clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant transportation or civil experience
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred
• Familiarity with CAD and industry design tools
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

The position offers a salary range of USD 70,000 to 120,000 per year and is based in Columbus, Ohio, with hybrid working options.
