Transportation Engineer (EIT or PE)
Job Description
Everforth is seeking a Transportation Engineer with an active EIT or PE to help shape roadway and active transportation initiatives in the Columbus area. This hybrid role combines CAD-based design, estimates, and documentation from concept through construction, offering a pathway to grow within a collaborative practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and designing roadway and active transportation projects
- Conduct research, data analysis, and field reviews
- Create CAD-based design plans and visual exhibits
- Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and technical documentation
- Engage in quality reviews and coordinate with clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 2 years of relevant transportation or civil experience
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred
- Familiarity with CAD and industry design tools
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
