Tunneling Project Engineer
Job Description
This onsite Tunneling Project Engineer role supports tunneling projects across estimating, scheduling, cost control, and design execution in the Seattle area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project submittals.
- Support documentation of construction activities.
- Compile and maintain cost estimates.
- Use job-cost tracking and project scheduling to help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Perform design engineering tasks.
- Interface with clients and internal design teams.
- Manage material procurement, including ordering and controlling materials and equipment.
- Track quantity takeoffs.
- Participate in preparing bid proposals.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent preferred).
- 1-5 years of similar work experience with tunneling scopes.
- AutoCad and scheduling software preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Driver’s License (required).
- English (required).
- Ability to commute in King County, WA (required).

Compensation
- Base pay: $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
- Negotiable: depending on relevant experience.
