Job Description

This onsite Tunneling Project Engineer role supports tunneling projects across estimating, scheduling, cost control, and design execution in the Seattle area.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project submittals.
  • Support documentation of construction activities.
  • Compile and maintain cost estimates.
  • Use job-cost tracking and project scheduling to help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Perform design engineering tasks.
  • Interface with clients and internal design teams.
  • Manage material procurement, including ordering and controlling materials and equipment.
  • Track quantity takeoffs.
  • Participate in preparing bid proposals.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent preferred).
  • 1-5 years of similar work experience with tunneling scopes.
  • AutoCad and scheduling software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Driver’s License (required).
  • English (required).
  • Ability to commute in King County, WA (required).

Compensation

  • Base pay: $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
  • Negotiable: depending on relevant experience.
