Job Description

Advanced Software Engineer role focused on building and integrating software test systems for mission-critical hardware.

  • Design and develop software-based test systems for mission-critical hardware
  • Integrate software with electrical hardware and National Instruments hardware
  • Automate functional and performance testing of physical hardware through software
  • Develop and maintain digital signal processing (DSP) software and test applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering (or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field) plus minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • OR Master’s degree plus 3 years relevant experience
  • Preferred at time of hire: Department of Defense Secret security clearance
  • Selected applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Due to work performed within company facilities: U.S. citizenship is required
  • Experience working with electrical hardware, both hands-on and programmatically
  • Experience with National Instruments hardware
  • Proficiency with one or more of: C/C++, Object Oriented Development, Windows, Visual Studio, .NET
  • Background implementing DSP software
  • Experience automating testing of physical hardware via software
  • Ability to lead the software development process
  • Expertise applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges creatively
  • Collaborative team player focused on providing technical leadership and helping others succeed
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and others
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Salary: USD 115,000 - 125,000 per year
