Aerospace LabView Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate software for production equipment, covering the full development lifecycle.
• Create software specifications derived from internal product engineering requirements.
• Develop NI LabView applications and support legacy test software written in C++.
• Produce technical documentation to accompany all software implementations.
• Maintain and support equipment software to ensure reliable operation.
• Lead and participate in software code reviews to ensure quality standards.
• Read and interpret equipment and wiring schematics accurately.
• Apply understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in testing and maintenance.
• Gather and review data related to equipment specifications and customer requirements as needed.
• Verify operations align with customer specifications and applicable regulations to sustain production quality.
• Provide training to operators and technicians to ensure proper equipment use.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science with at least 1 year of LabView development and 2 years of general software experience, or a bachelor's degree in engineering with 5 years of LabView experience.
• Experience in LabView object oriented software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Compensation

• Salary: USD 72,800 per year
