Software Engineer III with AWS Cloud

Ledgent Technology is hiring a contract Software Engineer III with AWS Cloud to support a financial services organization building next-generation systems in Newport Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems, clarify requirements, and assess technology feasibility
• Support scope definition, workflow design, and facilitation of technology development
• Design and build solutions that address complex business needs
• Partner with the Product Owner to refine the backlog, prioritize use cases, and help the team align on requirements
• Collaborate across business and technology teams to support integration design, development, testing, and implementation
• Work with architects and engineers to shape automation engineering solutions
• Mine large and complex datasets for insights and convert findings into new product features
• Execute projects from initial setup through production delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Communicate complex concepts and results clearly and effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and/or cloud technologies
• Hands-on experience implementing data integration and API services using AWS cloud technologies
• Strong foundation in modern SDLC using AWS Services, RDBMS, NoSQL, Python, C#, .NET Core, Windows/Linux, and Terraform
• Working knowledge of automation, integration, and business process management solutions
• Experience working in a fast-paced Agile software development environment
