Backend Software Engineers
Job Description
Onsite in Colorado Springs, CO for the CommandIQ program, this full-time role offers a salary range of USD 75,000 to 150,000 per year plus benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Technical Interchange Meetings
- Facilitate Agile Release Train scrums and planning sessions
- Break down high level roadmap features into actionable tasks
- Design, implement, integrate, and test software features
- Conduct peer reviews and diagnose defects as they arise
- Engage in technical discussions to address broad software architecture needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to clarify project requirements and stakeholder needs
Requirements
- U.S. citizen with a valid passport
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another STEM field
- Minimum of two years of professional experience
- Experience with Rust or C, and Java
- Familiarity with backend containerization concepts using Docker
- Knowledge of or exposure to gRPC for framework development
- Hands-on experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
