Job Description

Bridge Structural Engineer roles at V3 Companies blend meaningful infrastructure work with strong support for your growth. This onsite position in Denver, CO focuses on bridge engineering drawings, structural analysis, and load rating work across projects throughout North America, supported by a collaborative, multi-discipline team and modern design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare bridge engineering drawings, including 3D bridge modeling
  • Perform structural analysis and design calculations
  • Conduct bridge inspection and complete load ratings
  • Create quantity and cost estimate calculations
  • Prepare construction specifications
  • Coordinate with other V3 disciplines on multi-faceted projects
  • Complete other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET Accredited university
  • Master’s degree in a structural focus is preferred
  • 4-8 years of bridge design, analysis, load rating, and inspection experience
  • Experience supporting clients including departments of transportation, state and local municipalities, and similar organizations
  • Familiarity with AASHTO, AREMA, IDOT, and ISTHA design standards
  • Proficiency in MicroStation
  • Familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler is a plus
  • Knowledge of design software including OpenBridge Designer, MDX, LPile, and STAAD
  • EIT license required
  • PE or SE license preferred

Compensation and Location

This onsite role is located in Denver, CO. Salary range: USD 95,000 - 110,000 per year.
