Civil Design Engineer Principal

Rick Engineering Company is seeking a Principal Civil Design Engineer for an on-site role in Riverside, California. The position offers an hourly rate of $43 to $58 and provides the opportunity to lead and contribute to land development projects across the Inland Empire, including grading, road design, drainage, and earthwork calculations. Responsibilities

• Lead grading plans from conceptual design through final plans
• Prepare and process maps and plans for subdivision and land development projects
• Road design
• Drainage calculations
• Earthwork calculations

Requirements

• Four years of land development experience plus a BSCE, or eight years of equivalent work experience
• Proven ability to take grading plans from conceptual design to final plans, along with preparation and processing of maps and plans for subdivision and land development projects, including road design, drainage, and earthwork calculations
• Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures, preferably in the Inland Empire
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required
