Electrical/Computer Engineer role onsite in Fort Madison, IA, to lead a small design team in developing electrical and embedded control systems from concept to production, with opportunities to influence controls, IoT, and environmental/agriculture applications at Bartlett Instrument Company; salary USD 80,666 to 150,000 per year; requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team on all aspects of existing and new designs, including hardware, firmware, and production processes.
• Provide production support for existing products to ensure reliability and manufacturability.
• Serve as the customer interface for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong C programming skills for embedded systems.
• Experience configuring and maintaining integrated development environments (IDEs).
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Python, and Git.
• Fundamental understanding of analog-to-digital converters, microprocessors, and transistors.
• Basic knowledge of integrated circuits, printed circuit boards, and assembly techniques.
• Understanding of IoT environments, including mobile apps, APIs, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to see tasks through to completion and report status clearly.
