Cyber RF Software Engineer Staff

Lockheed Martin RMS seeks a senior staff Cyber RF Software Engineer to lead DSP focused RF software development and drive Agile/DevOps integration using C++, Python, Kubernetes, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more software development teams, delivering work that aligns with the project’s software development process and quality standards.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster skill development and career growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze user requirements and translate them into design and performance specifications.
• Design and implement new features or modify existing code to extend functionality.
• Debug and resolve defects to maintain software reliability.
• Suggest improvements to documentation and software development process standards.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments, leveraging expertise in C++, Kubernetes, Python, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply Agile Sprint Development methodologies to manage work items and deliverables.
• Contribute to projects involving Digital Signal Processing and related RF technologies.

Requirements

• Active US security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a DSP focus from an accredited institution (or equivalent).
• Equivalency: MS in Engineering/CS plus 2 years of experience, or 4 years DSP experience plus a high school diploma.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects following established software processes.
• Minimum 7 years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, and Python (or comparable languages).
