Job Description
Capgemini Sogeti is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer who blends the disciplines of data engineering and business analytics to deliver scalable data platforms and actionable insights. Located in Alpharetta, GA with Day One onsite involvement and a hybrid work setup, the role collaborates across technology and business teams to transform data into strategic guidance that informs decisions.
Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to establish key metrics and data requirements
- Architect, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows that support analytics and reporting
- Translate complex datasets into clear, business-focused insights and recommendations
- Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and visualizations
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and governance across platforms
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business teams to advance strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in data engineering and analytics roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and analytics tools
- Proven experience in financial services and wealth management with expertise in stock plans, financial data, crypto, and related business processes
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake
- Solid understanding of data modeling, architecture, and governance principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
