Job Description
The Data Engineer will be responsible for collecting, storing, processing, analyzing, and modeling large datasets while building data driven applications and scalable analytics solutions across the organization. This role is based on site in Orlando, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain stable, secure, and scalable data engineering solutions and pipelines, including integrating new sources into the central data warehouse and routing data to applications and affiliates.
- Maintain, monitor, and optimize the analytics data warehouses and the overall data platform.
- Provide hands-on development, deployment, maintenance, and support for a range of cloud and on premise solutions, web service infrastructures, and supporting technologies.
- Produce scalable, replicable code and engineering solutions to automate repetitive data management tasks.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, data scientists, and key stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure the data infrastructure meets business needs.
- Maintain a critical view of technical strategy, proactively identifying performance gaps and designing creative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Snowflake and Python certifications are highly preferred, but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, systemic thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
- 3+ years of related data engineering or IT experience.
- Proven experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Java/Scala, Python, and AWS architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, VB.Net) and designing, developing, and deploying Windows and Web applications.
- Experience in data modeling and database development using PL/SQL, SQL Server (2016 or later), and Snowflake; strong working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Proven experience building data pipelines, APIs, and ETL flows in cloud and on-premise environments using Snowpipe, Informatica, Airflow, and Kafka.
- A track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected, or unstructured datasets, with the ability to perform root-cause analysis on data processes to identify opportunities.

Compensation
Annual salary offered is USD 90,000 to 100,000.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
