This position centers on designing temporary works and falsework for heavy-civil projects, evaluating loads, creating CAD models, and coordinating with third-party designers to ensure safe, constructible methods on site. Compensation
Annual salary range: USD 110,000 to USD 185,000.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with estimating and project teams to explore conceptual designs and identify value engineering opportunities
- Assess loads and external forces to verify structural integrity of new components, falsework, and existing structures for proposed work methods
- Engineer structures including bridge erection falsework, custom scaffolding, rigging systems, and other access solutions
- Develop structural models using CAD software
- Conduct field inspections of critical fabrications and falsework prior to loading
- Support field investigations and measurements as needed for design of connecting components
- Adhere to construction safety guidelines
- Select materials based on structural specifications and availability
- Review plans and specifications for constructability standards
- Evaluate in-house design plans for design-critical components
- Coordinate with third-party design professionals, managing progress to maintain budget and schedule
- Prepare and allocate design proposals and budgets for use by project managers
- Review and audit internal design processes to ensure standards
