Job Description
Join Catalytic Combustion in Bloomer, Wisconsin, onsite, as an Electrical Engineer responsible for evaluating electrical systems, conducting research, and providing technical support. You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve efficiency and production quality.
Your role on our team
- Resolve technical problems, think analytically, and communicate professionally in a high pressure, time sensitive customer environment.
- Apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices across broad areas of assignments.
- Interact with CCC sales staff and/or customers to understand requirements and specifications to recommend application specific solutions.
- Prepare, review, and provide project documentation in a timely manner for conformity and quality assurance.
- Develop new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products.
- Assist upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support of installed products and serve as a resource for field service technicians and customer inquiries.
What we're looking for
- Completion of 4 years of study in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline. A minimum of 5 years previous experience is desired.
- Experience in engineering, relay logic, PLC controller operation and programming, AC power distribution, and current understanding of NEC/UL codes.
- Familiarity with catalytic air pollution control technology and/or technology for the control of sound emissions from engines is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of computer applications such as SolidWorks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is a plus.
- Deal effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people and solutions, including maintaining professional relationships with customers who may be upset.
- Meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
