Electrical Engineer - Estimator

MidStates Energy Co. LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer – Estimator to join its Bloomsdale, Missouri team in a hybrid office environment. The role centers on developing precise, competitive cost estimates for industrial electrical construction projects, working closely with vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams to guide bids through planning and toward award.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plan and specification estimates
• Develop comprehensive design-build estimates
• Perform detailed scope reviews
• Produce competitive estimates throughout the bid process
• Complete bid forms and prepare proposals
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing
• Assist in planning and negotiating projects through award

Requirements

• Knowledge of Accubid estimating software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Minimum 2-year technical degree required
• 4-year engineering or related degree preferred
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• You must work in our office as required. This is not a remote job.
