Electrical Equipment Design and Installation Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

On site in North Charleston, Boeing's South Carolina operations seek an Electrical Equipment Design and Installation Engineer at either an Experienced or Senior level. The role centers on shaping electrical product and harness designs, gathering data to support statements of work, and contributing to system architecture with hands-on collaboration across teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs, including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, and antennas.
• Creates and updates basic cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs; assists with engineering dispositions on discrepancies such as rejection tags, production action requests, and shop revision requests.
• Adheres to documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
• Collects data to support the development of statements of work.
• Assists in data gathering of supplier capabilities.
• Reviews functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.
• Performs under general direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 3+ years of experience with wire design and/or wire harness installation and/or equipment installation.
• 3+ years of experience with computer aided design tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens, NX.

Salary and pay ranges

• Salary: USD 112,200 - 185,150 per year
• Summary pay range: Experienced (Level 3) 112,200 - 151,800; Senior (Level 4) 136,850 - 185,150

This position is expected to be 100% onsite and located at North Charleston, SC.
