Based in Louisville, KY, this hourly role supports electrical and mechanical systems on crushing and screening equipment. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and participate in field service and on site diagnostics. The position involves travel both domestically and internationally and operates on a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues on crushing and screening equipment via technical helpdesk support or on site field service
  • Provide aftermarket support including system upgrades and issue resolution for customers and dealers across MP product lines
  • Contribute to research and development efforts for new equipment and technologies
  • Apply electrical expertise to support manufacturing operations
  • Follow engineering protocols for ECOs, ECRs and related documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up to date electrical schematics
  • Assist in training internal personnel on electrical systems and procedures
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and utility providers during installation of stationary and mobile systems
  • Collaborate with external vendors to develop control systems and configure component settings
  • Oversee in house electronics and panel assembly processes
  • Promote and enforce safety standards including proper PPE use and reporting unsafe conditions
  • Travel domestically and internationally to perform on site diagnostics and service

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in electrical design
  • 1–3 years of PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley preferred)
