Ground Software Engineer

The Ground Software Engineer position at Lockheed Martin is an on site role based in King of Prussia, PA with potential placement in Littleton, CO. This Level 2 role requires TS/SCI clearance and focuses on building enterprise, cloud based mission management and command and control software using Java, Angular, and Python within an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise, cloud based solutions for mission management and command and control.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain object oriented ground system software using Java, Angular, and Python.
• Support modernization efforts aimed at increasing efficiency, security, automation, and scalability.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and test engineers within an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with adjudicated SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) prior to starting employment.
• Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience (Emerging Professional Level 2).
• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Experience developing ground subsystems.
• Strong software development and engineering background with a track record of delivering projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Angular, and Python for design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of object oriented ground system software.
